Commentary:

May Contractors as Principal Contractor completed the enabling works at Parklands Phase II, Rubery, previously a Hospital grounds, works undertaken including;

• New access road (110m)
• Reclamation of approx. 21,000m2 to 1m below exiting ground level including the removal of multiple tunnels and basements previously utilised by the hospital
• Lime stabilisation to waterlogged areas
• Capping of existing well (10m depth)
• Piling Mat (materials crushed and re-used from tunnels and basements)

The site has been developed from an unknown quantity into a clean clear site ready for the next phase of construction.
